The Enchanted Forest of Fergus Presents $2500 Fairy-Sized Cheque to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington
Centre Wellington, October 31, 2023 - The Enchanted Forest of Fergus, renowned for its magical fall event, has demonstrated their commitment to the local community by generously donating $2500 to Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Centre Wellington.
Brad Mulligan, the Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington, expressed his utmost appreciation for the invaluable contribution made by The Enchanted Forest of Fergus.

““Children and their imaginative thinking play a crucial role in shaping our approach to the Forest,” Zimmerman explained. “We’re thrilled to support Big Brothers Big Sisters and hope this donation will have a significant impact on the youth in our community and the incredible work that Big Brothers Big Sisters is doing.””
"The support that [The Enchanted Forest of Fergus] has offered as a community member and by hosting this remarkable event is greatly appreciated," Mulligan said. "The funding goes directly into our programs and helps us in our mission to support and empower the local youth of Centre Wellington."
Mulligan went on to emphasize the personal and professional significance of their partnership with The Enchanted Forest of Fergus, noting, "It was a great opportunity for our staff and a couple of our board members to have a small part in it. It's definitely an event that we very much enjoy for personal and professional reasons."
Co-founder of The Enchanted Forest, Julia Zimmerman, also expressed her delight at being able to make a positive impact on the community.
"Children and their imaginative thinking play a crucial role in shaping our approach to the Forest," Zimmerman explained. Since their flagship event in September 2022, The Enchanted Forest of Fergus has contributed a total of $7500 to BBBS, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to the well-being of the youth in Centre Wellington.
